Estimates only
GQ Calc provides mathematical material quantity estimates from the measurements and assumptions you enter. Results may differ from actual needs because of measurement error, site conditions, product variation, moisture, compaction, cuts, breakage, workmanship, supplier increments, and other project details.
Your responsibility
Verify dimensions, units, product labels, supplier quantities, and current manufacturer instructions before purchasing or installing material. You are responsible for deciding whether a product and construction method are suitable for the project.
No engineering or code decision
The calculators do not provide structural design, load analysis, safety approval, building-code compliance, permit advice, installation supervision, or professional engineering, architectural, legal, or financial advice.

External sources are cited to explain a method or product example. Links and documents can change, and one product’s value must not be treated as a universal specification. Editable inputs are provided so current project information can replace examples.
